It’s no secret I’m a lover of whisky, indeed that amber elixir could be considered one of my favourite indulgences.
Some may say there is no such thing as bad whisky, (that is certainly debateable) but there certainly are some that are better than others. I’ve been a fan of whisky from the isle of Jura for a few years now, slowly working my way up the chain of their bottling’s. For those you who would like to know, Jura is an island of the inner Hebrides that has been producing whisky official and unofficially for several hundred years. The current distillery, which I can only imagine is like my own version of Willie Wonka’s chocolate factory, (but with more tipsy Oompa-Loompas) was rebuilt in the 1960’s.
