Jezabel is their very own brand craft gin which is supplied to bars, restaurants and shops throughout the UK. The gin itself is a wheat based spirit, micro-distilled in Bristol and contains ten key botanicals; juniper, angelica, coriander seed, orris root, grapefruit peel, lime peel, buchu leaf, plantain leaf, rowan berries and cubeb. Rather teasingly one of these has undergone a secret process that the makers refuse to reveal, a little mystery in your gin never hurt anyone. The gin is bottled and sold at 40% ABV. So is Jezabel a false prophet or will we be singing her praises ? SilverFox Tasting Notes Taking a walk through middle eastern market, the painted eyes of the spice seller draw you over. The scent of sweet flowers mingles with aromatic spices and warms the night air. Jezabel Tasting Notes Nose: Juniper and floral aromas Palette: Sweet juniper and citrus, followed by subtle blackcurrant Finish: Warm and peppery Average Price: £36.99 Fox's Rating: 6/10 Jezabel is an interesting gin that's certainly worth a try, it's sweet, warming and makes a good G&T. A touch more sweet and piney than a traditional gin, it's a must for those who like their gins a bit sweeter.
