Orlebar Brown have been associated with James Bond for awhile now, this year they have launched a new range of clothing inspired by classic Bond films.

These shorts with contrast waistband are based on the shorts worn by Sean Connery in Thunderball (1965).
The original 1965 shorts were made by Jantzen, who now only make swimwear for women. Throughout the course of the film Bond wear three different pairs of Jantzen shorts, most prominently a blue pair with a black belt, which has inspired the modern design.

The Setter style short are Orlebar Brown's signature 'shorter' short. Taking their cues from a man’s pair of trousers.

They are made with the best modern materials and come in light blue with a contrasting Navy waistband, which simulates the belted look of the originals. These modern trunks do have button down belt loop detail, so you could add a belt yourself if you really wanted.

Sizing wise you might want to go down a size from the measurements recommended on the Orlebar Brown website as the original size I ordered were far too big, indeed one good wave and the world would be in danger of seeing my Thunderball's. The next size down however fits snugly and feel much fore secure.

Whether you're in the Bahamas or Bournemouth these classic style shorts will look just as good and can be worn from the beach to the bar with no issues.

Never in my life had I imagined that I am going to be in some kind of situation where morality is no longer in the picture. I thought I was raised in an environment with values which is going to remain intact and could be carried up to my grave. I guess people and environment change over time but it's not definitely for the worse. I guess we are just in an age where people are reached by a certain same frequency from which each of our situation revolve over each other and divorce can be really helpful.
